Orion and Alex are from the same world as [info]elementwizard though they've only met once.

The two of them are from across the ocean and are their world's version of angels. More information about Angels here.

Orion is the General of the Lancoon army having come from his lands as an exile with his slave, Alex. King Phelps found his talents useful for his desires to expand his kingdom and took him in, despite protests. Orion has fulfilled his end of the bargain, whipping the army into shape.

Alex is stark raving mad and Orion likes him that way. In fact Orion made him that way. They are not nice people. Though Orion can put on an act of civility, he's really as broken and mad as his pet.

The two of them are in love and are happy together.

Yes, it is an abusive relationship.
